Sometimes you will need an adaptable number of entries per field within your content groups, such as a product’s features, benefits and specifications; or highlights of a particular use-case.
This is where the “Repeatable Structures” field type is needed, where you can enter as many entries, for each individual item, as necessary. These are then populated automatically in a page through either a list, grid or metadata format.
To begin utilizing this data field you will first need a content group and give it the “Repeatable Structure” field type. From there you can add as many entries as needed for each individual item, giving each entry a title, text description and/or media. Please refer to the Repeatable Structures within a Content Group article for more details.
Finally, you can use these content groups within your experiences as:
- Lists, for when you need only a title or description per entry
- Metadata, for when you need both a title and description per entry, which is particularly useful for technical specifications
- Grids, for when you need to display media.
Please refer to their respective articles for more detail.
