Within a block page, there is a new block component called “SVG” to provide better handling and support of SVG images within your pages.

Carousel – Admin Portal Behaviour with Filters

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when adding filters to a  carousel, the filter bar would not initially show.

Grid Content Order

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, new items added to a content group would appear out of order within a grid

Grid Filter Button

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the filter button for a grid would show on responsive screen sizes, regardless of the filter on/off toggle.

Logo Only Navigation

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when the navigation type “Logo” is selected, the search and fulfilment buttons would overlap the logo.

Block Page – Media Height

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when a media block is inserted into a block page with a specified row height, the media block would be incorrectly sized.

Version Update Message

When a new version of the platform is available, there will now be a message prompting admin users to reload the page to get the latest product version.

Media Playlists

Playlist Carousel – Admin Portal Behaviour with Filters

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when adding filters to a playlist carousel, the filter bar would not initially show.

Playlist Carousel – Button Vertical Alignment

Within a playlist carousel, the button can now be fixed to the bottom of the card when equal height is used

Playlist Carousel – Admin Portal Behaviour when Updating

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when editing any property on a playlist carousel, it would reload the carousel on every change whilst editing

Screensaver Media

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the media for an experience screensaver could not be removed

Showpad Integration

We have improved a number of functionalities and behaviours with our Showpad integration for a more efficient synchronization process

Media Integration Permission

When an integration exists on an account, there is now a new integration tab on each media item, and access to this is controlled through a new user group permission.

Custom Grid Alignment

We have improved the centering of the custom grid alignment when there are only a few items in the custom grid and it does not go beyond the browsers window. 

Color Picker Opacity Setting

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the opacity value selected in the color picker would no longer display the correct value

Heading Alignment and Spacing

We have now standardised all heading spaces and alignments when creating block pages. This will help when creating detailed content pages.

Formatting on Text Boxes

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the formatting would be lost within a block page text box when editing text.

Link to Releases Page

We now have a link from the version number to create easy access to this release page. Maybe this is how you got here!

Repeatable Structures

We are expanding the usage of repeatable structures within content groups – such as benefits, specifications, features and any other repeatable items – so that product, service or reference pages can be built quickly and at scale. This will involve a number of small iterative releases as we build up this feature.

Reorderable Structures within Content Group Items

Within a content group item a structure can now be reordered within a content group item.

Attach Content Group Structures to List

Within a content group item a structure can now be added to a list within a block page.

Analytics

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the analytics data was calculating incorrectly as filters were changed.

On top of this we have amended the way some calculations are made, and improved other functionality within the analytics feature.

Grid Filter Visibility

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when a grid filter position is selected as bottom, it appears below the navigation.

Screensaver

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the screensaver was resetting too early.

User Menu in Navigation Bar

Within the navigation bar on an experience, a user can now access their profile, switch to admin view and logout.

Responsive Navigation

We have made a number of improvements in user experience and behaviour to the navigation when used in smaller browsers and devices.

We have made a number of improvements in style, performance and behaviour to the hotspot components used across the platform.

Media upload into designated folder

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, when media is uploaded and a folder is specified, the media would not be added to the folder and into the main media library instead.

3D Model – Background Image

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, adding a background image into a 3D model page would blackout the 3D model.

Media Selection on Comparison Slider, Asset Viewer and Navigational SVG

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, it was not possible to select a media item within the Comparison Slider, Asset Viewer and Navigational SVG components

Grid Contain and Cover

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, the grid contain and cover page settings would not apply

Grid Component – Side Panel Filter

The grid component has an additional display style for filters – a side panel which allows for the easier selection and display of multiple filters.

Block Page Row Reorganisation

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, where on Block Pages the up and down reorganising arrows on rows would not display.

Block Page Row Video Alignment and Fit

This adds in additional controls for videos in Block Pages, with greater alignment for videos and improved fit/fill controls.

List and Text Alignment in a Block Page

When a list and text block are used in adjacent columns, the top lines will now align accordingly to improve the aesthetics of a page

Additional Profile Fields – Further Settings

As an enhancement to our additional profile fields, there are two additional settings to make each field required and/or public – where the field is displayable when sharing an asset basket.

3D Model – Option to play animations

Within our 3D model component, there is now an option to turn built-in animations on and off within a model.

Branded Login Pages

The login page can now be customised to feature a primary colour from your brand, logo, background image and background colour.

Experience Cover Image

This fixes an issue where in some circumstances, changing a setting within an experience removes the cover image.

Ability to switch between dashboard and admin panel

Users are now default to the app dashboard, and with the correct permissions have the ability to switch to the admin panel.

Ability to change heading colour

The default heading colour set in a theme can now be overridden on individual pages to help with any colour or media contrast requirements.

Media Playlists

Create Media Playlists

Content creators can now build custom playlists by organizing media library items into ordered collections, enhancing user engagement and content flow.

Create Playlist Carousels

You can use your media playlists within a playlist carousel and allow users to interact with your pre-configured playlists.

Allow iFrame as Media Type

You can now add iFrame URLs to the media library, enabling seamless integration of external content like videos, maps, or custom widgets.

Add descriptions to media items

A new description field allows you to add detailed information to each media item, improving organization and providing valuable context for users.

User Access & Profile Settings

Restricted-Access Experiences

Experiences can now be restricted to specific user groups, offering a tailored experience while maintaining access control for different audience segments.

Additional Profile Fields

Admins can now add additional profile fields into a user profile for them to complete. As well as free-text fields, pre-defined multiple choice options can be used.

Login Options

Admins now have additional options for controlling how users will login, starting with bypassing the dashboard when a user only has one experience to them.

Creating User Groups

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, administrators could not create new user groups.

Privacy Policy Update

Our privacy policy has been updated and changes described within the document.

Download and Cache

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, caching a high-volume of assets caused some assets to not download.

PDFs within Block Pages

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, PDFs would not display when embedded into Block Pages

Hotspot Improvement

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, hotspots within a block page would move slightly based on the browser window ratio

Improve Alignment on Hotspot Card Buttons

On hotspot cards, alignment is now improved on the buttons displayed within the cards.

Navigation Style Choice

This fixes an issue where in some circumstances the navigational style choice when building an experience was not retained

Hotspot Card Position

This fixes an issue where in some circumstances a hotspot card appears off screen when opened

Sort order preferences are retained

Within the EMS, when a user sorts either Experiences, Sections and Media, these preferences are now retained when you leave and return to these areas.

Editing text within a carousel card

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, where within a carousel card, text could not be later edited.

Content group items in fulfilment baskets

This fixes an issue where under some circumstances, fulfilment baskets containing content group items were failing to send.

PDF Inbuilt Links

Within the media library, there is now the option to allow PDFs to utilise any links that have been built into the document.

Grid Improvements

Grid Component – Alternative Card Style Option

Within theme settings, an alternative card style can be created. This can then be selected within the grid component, giving greater choice for how a grid can be styled.

Grid Component – Corrected Add to Basket Link Text

This fixes an issue where in some circumstances, when a content creator wanted to make an item basketable in a grid, the custom text applied to the button was not updating correctly.

Grid Component – Corrected Cursor Icon on Links

This fixes an issue when a plus or arrow style was used for a link, the incorrect cursor was showing for users on hover state.

Grid Component – Corrected How Content Group Items are Added To Basket

This fixes an issue where in some circumstances, when a content creator wanted to make an item basketable in a grid, many items from the content group would be added to the basket.

Grid Component – Set All Images to Contain or Cover

Within a grid component, all media images can now be set to contain or cover by default, making it quicker and easier to style your grids

Grid Component – The Whole Card Item Can Be Tapped/Clicked When a Link Is Enabled

Within a grid component, when a link is applied to an item, then the entire card can be tapped or clicked, making it easier to navigate to the right product, service or reference.

When an Experience is integrated into the Showpad platform, reps can now add media items to a Showpad Shared Space

Buttons use theme font

Experience buttons will now use the body theme font to improve consistency of branding

Carousel Component – The Whole Card Item Can Be Tapped/Clicked When a Link Is Enabled

Within a carousel component, when a link is applied to an item, then the entire card can be tapped or clicked, making it easier to navigate to the right product, service or reference.

Filter Applied when linking to a tag-based carousel

An issue was fixed, where in some occasions where there was a link to a carousel with a predefined filter – this filter was not being applied.

When No Navigation Is Selected, Space Will Not Be Left for Navigation Bar

This fixes an issue when no navigation was selected in the EMS, under certain conditions, there was still a space for the navigation within the browser.

3D Component Improvements

Improvements to how 3D models handle within the component, improved floor grid, height and fog. Animations will be played when part of a 3D model.

Analytics Improvements

With this latest update, there is a more granular reporting on page views, to provide even more detail of what users are viewing. There are also a number of other updates to how certain parts of the experience are handled with analytics.

Video Thumbnails

Thumbnails can now be displayed on video players, these thumbnails can be loaded into the media library per asset.
