This release brings a major upgrade to hotspot theming, along with improvements to Auto Advance, the Media Library, Custom Grid navigation, and the iPad app.
Hotspot styling gets a major upgrade
Hotspot styling has been completely overhauled, giving you much more control over how hotspots look and behave across your Experiences.
Hotspots now have their own dedicated section within Theme, where you can create and manage up to five separate hotspot styles.
Each style gives you independent control over the marker background, graphic and border, as well as the label background, text and border. You can also add shadows, borders and hover states to create more distinctive and interactive designs.
This is a major workflow improvement, making it much quicker to create, deploy and manage consistent hotspot styling across your content.
Auto Advance
Auto Advance now includes additional styling and behaviour options.
You can customise the background colour of the progress bar and choose whether the indicator depletes or fills as the page progresses.
Media Library
Media Library items can now have both a customer-facing name and a separate filename.
This means you can display clear, easy-to-understand asset names to customers while retaining the original or internal filename for reference and record keeping.
Custom Grid
Custom Grids are now easier to navigate on desktop.
Alongside touch, scrollbars and navigation arrows, you can now click and drag a grid left and right using your mouse.
iPad App
We’ve resolved an issue where, under some circumstances, minimising the iPad app and reopening it could cause an Experience to display at half the available screen size.
