Editing Theme Fonts

Within a theme, under the tab “Fonts” you can control the fonts used within your theme.

As you make changes, a preview is shown on the page. Remember to click “Save” in the top right-hand corner as you work.

Titles

Font Selection

To set your title font, click the edit icon under “Font family”. This will provide you with a number of options:

  • Google Fonts
  • Media Library
  • Upload

Google Fonts

You can use any font within the Google Fonts library, simply type in the font name you wish to use, select it, and then click “Select Font” in the top right hand corner.

Media Library & Upload

If you have a custom brand font, you can upload this file or select it from your media library.

Font Weight

Font weight sets the thickness of the font (the higher the number, the bolder the font will appear).

Click on the dropdown menu, and select any available font weights that belong to the font. This will set the weight for titles within your theme.

Font Color

Click on the dropdown menu, and select any color set in your font colors. This will set the title font color within your theme.

Font Case

Select from the following options to set how your titles will appear within your theme:

  • Normal – Titles will appear as typed
  • UPPERCASE – Titles will be capitalized regardless of how they are typed.
  • Title Case – The first letter of each word will be capitalized.
  • lower case – Titles will appear in lowercase, regardless of how they are typed.

  • Google Fonts
  • Media Library

Click on the on the edit icon under “Font family”.

You can use any font within the Google Fonts library, simply type in the font that you wish to use, select it and then click “Select Font” in the top right hand corner.

Font Weight

Font weight sets the thickness of the font (the higher the number the more bold the font will appear).

Click on the dropdown menu, and select any available font weights that belong to the font. You can set this for both the default regular and bold body copy within your experience.

Media Library

If you have a custom brand font, you can set a font or font variant for each of the four options:

  • Regular (required)
  • Bold (optional)
  • Italic (optional)
  • Bold Italic (optional)

Click on the edit icon under each option, which will allow you to upload this file or select it from your media library.
