Editing Theme Colors

Within a theme, under the tab “Colors” you can control the colors used within your theme.

As you make changes, a preview is shown on the page. Remember to click “Save” in the top right-hand corner as you work.

Changing a color

To set any colour, click on the color, and a color picker will open.

Within this color picker, you can:

  • Use the visual guide to pick any color
  • Insert a hex reference (e.g. #9E2A55)
  • Insert an RGB reference (e.g. 158, 42, 85)

Color Types

There are a number of different color types used on the platform

  • Primary
  • Background – Used as the default background page color and navigation menus.
  • Text Color
  • Text Light Color
  • Secondary Colors

Secondary Colors

Secondary colors expand the number of options available to your content creators when they open the Color Picker. You can have as many secondary colors as you require.

  • To add a new secondary color, click “Add color“.
  • To set the color, click on the color as described above.
  • To rename the color, click on the name and type the relevant color reference
  • To delete a secondary color, click on the delete icon next to the color.
