You can create a link which opens a specific media item

Add a link to a media item

To link to a media item then from the link panel:

1. Go to “Open Media“
2. Click on “Choose Media“
3. The media library picker will open.
4. Click “Save“

Change the linked media item

To change the linked media item then from the link panel:

1. Go to “Open Media“
2. Hover over the current asset preview
3. Click on the delete icon
4. Click on “Choose Media“
5. The media library picker will open.
6. Click “Save“

Web URLs

If you wish to open a web URL as an iFrame within the platform, then you can add an iFrame your Media Library, and then link to the item following the steps above.

This serves as an alternative to opening as a new tab or within an existing tab, or having to create an iFrame component, and keeps your web URLs in your single-source-of-truth Media Library.
