Install your Experience as a Showpad Experience App


Firstly, log into your Showpad account in the normal way.

1. In the Showpad ‘Admin’ view, Select the ‘Library’ tab from the Main Menu

2. Within the ‘Library’ tab, click the ‘Open Experience Builder’ button

3. In the ‘Assets & Experience’ tab, open the ‘Select an Experience’ dropdown menu

4. From the open menu, select ‘Create a New Experience’

5. Give your POPcomms Experience a title of your choice. This will be visible inside Showpad and is used to identify your Experience relative to any other Experiences or Assets.

6. Select the ‘Your Experience App’ option, and click ‘Create’

7. Upload the popcomms.showpad Experience file provided by POP.

8. Once the upload is complete, go to the ‘Edit’ tab

9. POPcomms will provide configration values to insert into the fields , as follows:

  • experienceId
    Your POPcomms Experience identifier.
    Unique for each Experience.
  • analyticsId
    Your POPcomms Analytics ID.
    Will be the same for all Experiences in your account.
  • store
    Showpad AppsDB store ID.
    Will be the same for all Experiences in your account.
  • shareableAssets
    Select the ‘popcomms’ tag from the list of available tags to facilitate sharing and adding Assets to SharedSpaces using Showpad-native functionality.

N.B. If you select multiple tags as ‘shareableAssets’ to make non-POPcomms Assets available in POPcomms Experience Share modals, change the logical operator in the dropdown to ‘Match ANY’ so that Assets with ANY (rather than ALL) of the tags will be offered.

10. Click the ‘Publish Experience’ button to Save

11. After publishing your Experience, assign Users or User Groups to the Experience to make it available to them in Showpad.
