How to Add Media Assets to Your Library
To add media-assets, click on the “Add media” button located in the top right corner. Upon clicking, you’ll encounter several options:
- Drag and drop files into the upload box
- Click the upload box to open your desktop files.
- Add a title to the media assets.
- When adding and naming multiple media assets at once you can either select:
- “File Name” – which will name them corresponding to the files’ names on your desktop.
- “Sequence” – which will allow you to compile all currently selected files with a prefix and will then be catalogued numerically e.g. Image1; Image2; Image3 etc.
- Nest the media assets within a folder from the folder structure on the left-hand side of the media library.
- Assign tags to the media assets through the drop-down menu or search bar: as you start typing, the system instantly filters and shows all tags that contain those letters anywhere in their name – not just at the beginning
Once you’ve configured your options, click “Add” in the bottom right corner to input your media assets into the selected folder.
