V 0.52

This release introduces major enhancements to content management and performance, with a focus on improved caching behaviour and the first phase of our Related Items workstream. Experiences now refresh instantly with a simple browser reload, and new updates to content groups make linking and managing related items more intuitive. Alongside these, a range of interface, media, and theme refinements deliver a smoother, more consistent platform experience overall.

Related Content

This release marks the beginning of a major improvement to how content groups and related content items work together. These updates lay the groundwork for more flexible linking between content groups, with further enhancements to follow in upcoming releases.

Field Type “Content” renamed to “Related Content”

Within content groups, the field type “Content” has been renamed to “Related Content” to provide clearer context and improve understanding of its purpose.

Related Content Restricted to Single Content Group

Within a content group’s field settings, Related Content (formerly “Content”) can now be restricted to a single content group. This ensures that items can only be added from one defined group – for example, preventing products from being added into an accessory field.

Public or Private Content Group Fields

Within content groups, each field can now be set to public or private, allowing greater control over which details are visible when sharing a content group item externally.

Content Import Export Tool

The content group import and export tool has been enhanced to improve data error handling, batch processing, and formatting reliability. It now manages more edge cases and provides better feedback during data analysis.

Improved Experience Caching Behaviour

Page caching has been significantly improved – new experience updates are now available immediately with a simple browser refresh, rather than waiting for the 60-minute cache cycle. The 60-minute refresh still applies automatically, but users can now access the latest content whenever needed by refreshing their browser.

Hotspots

Hotspot Icons

This fixes an issue, where under some circumstances, JPG and PNG file types could not be applied to hotspot icons.

Fullscreen Hotspot Creation

This fixes an issue, where under some circumstances, for newly added hotspots, the cards would not open until the page had been saved.

Fullscreen Hotspot Panel – List Block

This fixes an issue, where under some circumstances, the fullscreen hotspot side panel could not have a list block added to it.

Other Updates

Section ID on Cards

Section ID numbers are now displayed on cards when viewing section details, making it easier to identify and reference specific sections.

Add to basket on video viewer

This fixes an issue, where under some circumstances, the “Add to Basket” option would not appear when viewing a video in fullscreen mode.

Bulk Editing of Assets

This fixes an issue, where under some circumstances, media items were moved out of their folders when tags were applied during a bulk edit.

Media Library List View

Within the media library, the list view now omits folders to provide clearer visibility of assets, especially when working with libraries that contain a large number of folders.

Theme Default Label + Logo

This fixes an issue, where the default theme label did not display immediately after being set. The label now appears instantly, and theme logos correctly display once saved.

New Tags Demonstration

A new help center walkthrough is now available to help users understand how tags work. This demonstration can be accessed directly from within the tag library for quick, in-context learning.

Custom Grid Padding

Padding has been added to the top and bottom of custom grids when no title or subtitle is present, ensuring consistent spacing and visual balance across layouts.

Background Behaviour

The way backgrounds transition between scenes has been improved, creating smoother and more seamless changes – particularly when the same background is used across multiple pages.

RFID Tags

This fixes an issue, where under some circumstances, users were unable to add new RFID tags to their experiences.
